India

  • Rosanna Rodrigues—Rosanna is a social worker and an arts-based therapy practitioner who builds resilience and facilitates healing and empowerment through art and movement. With Khula Aasman Trust, she works with women in prison and juveniles in conflict with the law. Rosanna is a co-facilitator of the Insight Improvisation Learning Support Group (LSG) in Mumbai.
  • Chetana Iyer—Chetana is trained as a social worker with a specialisation in mental health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and is a certified arts based therapy practitioner, using various expressive arts for mental health promotion. She is associated with the NGO Khula Aasman Trust in Mumbai, and co-facilitates the Insight Improvisation Learning Support Group there.
  • Sarita Ganesh, MA—Sarita is an arts-based therapist, social worker, artist, and activist, who founded the NGO Khula Aasman in Mumbai in 2009 to work with communities at the periphery of society, including women and girls who have been victims of trafficking, children in conflict with the law, and prison inmates. She organizes Insight Improv trainings for therapists in Mumbai.
  • Tanvi Oswal—Tanvi is an expressive movement therapy facilitator who is a passionate mover and practices yoga and mindfulness regularly. After working in the corporate world, she joined Khula Aasman and is currently working with convicts in Pune Central Jail.
  • Trishna Panchal—Trishna is a dance movement therapy practitioner and sexual health facilitator with the NGO Seeds of Awareness. After attendeding the Life Drama program in Mumbai in 2017, Trishna wrote that Insight Improv “gave me some clear insights into myself and also facilitated healing within.”

South Korea

  • Sooji Jung, MA—Sooji is a creative arts therapist, meditation teacher, and musician who earned her Master’s degree in Integrative Holistic Health from Lesley University. She is author of the self-help book I Let Myself Heal (내가 나를 낫게 한다), published in Korea in 2014, which contains case examples of the use of psolodrama for personal healing. She has been teaching Korean style yoga and meditation for more than 15 years, and organizes Insight Improv trainings in Seoul.

Thailand

  • Saraya “Sa” Thanyacharoen—Sa is a part-time counselor at The Center for Psychological Wellness in Bangkok. She previously provided work-life coaching services for multinational companies in Thailand. As someone who blends self-healing and art in the counseling process, she is drawn to Insight Improv and is currently pursuing CIIP certification. She organizes Insight Improv programs in Thailand, and facilitates the Insight Improvisation Learning Support Group (LSG) in Bangkok.
  • Preekamol “Gift” Chantaranijakorn—Gift is the founder of Ma:D Club for Better Society, social-minded community in Bangkok. With her strong passion for supporting people to shine their own lights, she believes in safe and supportive community where one can fully be oneself, connect to others and society. Gift is the founder of the Insight Improvisation Learning Support Group (LSG) in Bangkok.
  • Sonoko Prow—Sonoko is a Japanese, Chinese and Thai performing artist and personal growth workshop instructor who lives in Chiangmai and Bangkok and teaches and performs internationally. Founder of Khandha Arts’n Theatre Company and a Butoh artist, she hosted several of the earliest Insight Improv workshops in Thailand.
  • Tuvarak “Gade” Panyangam—Gade is Partnership Director of the School of Changemakers in Thailand. She strongly believes in transformative learning and has found that practicing psychodrama and psolodrama can be an approach to greater self awareness. She organized Insight Improv workshops in Thailand from 2013 to 2019.
  • Pimsiri “Jan” Ruangjiranan—Jan is a part-time counselor at The Center for Psychological Wellness in Bangkok, and is on the Psychology faculty at Chulalongkorn University. She has provided counseling services and as well as facilitated for the Socratic Teaching Program and Growth Mindset Program. Jan joined her first Insight Improv workshop in Thailand in 2018.

USA

  • Joel Gluck, MEd, RDT/BCT, CIIP/CT—A drama therapist in private practice, Joel offers individual therapy as well as international programs in drama therapy and psychodrama, in particular training and certification in Insight Improvisation. An executive coach in organizations worldwide for over 25 years, he lives in Belmont, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
  • Patrick Crowley—Patrick has been researching the body and movement for over 30 years as a dancer, yogi, and bodyworker, and performer. He teaches nationally and internationally at dance centers, yoga centers, organizations, universities, and retreat centers.
  • Christopher & Anne Ellinger—Christopher and Anne direct and perform with a Playback Theatre company in Boston called True Story Theater and coordinate the Playback North America network (of 50 Playback companies). Anne and Christopher have built several social mission organizations and co-authored three books.
  • Zsuzsanna Gero, LCMHC—Zsuzsanna is a psychotherapist in private practice in Boston, applying Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness meditation, psychodrama, expressive therapy, and other mind-body approaches in her practice.
  • Belle Halpern—Belle is the founder of Inspiring Educators, a nonprofit organization that uses theater techniques to grow the capacity of school leaders to inspire, helping schools flourish. She is also a professional singer who performs worldwide, and the co-author of the book Leadership Presence.
  • Peter Kovner, MEd, RDT—Pete’s current therapeutic-coaching practice helps individuals struggling with critical life and career transitions. As a Registered Drama Therapist, Pete co-founded the Boston-based Drama Therapy Practice Group to advance professional development in the field of experiential and creative therapy.
  • Sarah Kelley, MA—Sarah trained in expressive therapies at Lesley University and applies drama therapy in Imperfect Drama, a youth program she founded in 2006 in Nashville. An intern at the Zerka T. Moreno Foundation, she edited the Sociodrama for Our Time Manual, and is working with Ed Schreiber on a forthcoming autobiography of Moreno, Diary of a Genius.
  • Johnny Lapham, MFA—Johnny is an actor, singer, and recycled trash sculptor. He teaches art and performance classes for children and adults and is an active organizer and trainer in the movement for racial justice.
  • Rythea Lee—Rythea Lee is a multi-disciplinary Performance Artist, teacher, and therapist whose overarching focus is empowerment through fearless self-responsibility. She has been an Inner Bonding Counselor and trauma specialist for the past 20 years.
  • Kathy Lubar—Kathy co-founded The Ariel Group, an international theater-based leadership development company, and co-authored the book Leadership Presence. A founding member of Boston's New Repertory Theatre, she has practiced meditation for 40 years and teaches mindfulness to middle school students.
  • Cate McQuaid—Cate, an art critic for the Boston Globe, is a writer, performer, and storyteller who meets weekly with a partner to do psolodrama. She views it as a contemplative, therapeutic practice, which occasionally provides material for creative projects.
  • Michael Robbins, MA, LMHC—Michael trained with Dr. Yvonne Agazarian in a systems approach to therapy for 25 years and has practiced and taught Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation for 40 years. A student of many healing modalities, including psychodrama, he has written articles, book chapters and 2 books of poetry.
  • Jonathan Stein, MA, RDT, CTP—Jonathan is a drama and transpersonal therapist based in Hadley, MA. His treatment philosophy and approach include elements of holistic (integrating body, mind, emotions, and spirit), body-centered, and eco-centric (i.e. eco-therapy) approaches.
  • Nat Warren-White, MA, RDT/BCT—Nat is a drama therapist and executive coach based in Maine who has worked with ex-prisoners and veterans, as well as taught drama therapy internationally. An actor and director, he is also an avid sailor who has circumnavigated the globe.
  • Tom Webb—Tom is a retired professor and climate researcher who has 25 years of experience in authentic movement and over 13 years of psolodrama practice. The insights from changing roles amazes him, so too witnessing the work of others.
